Question: How do I determine what size table top to use with the table base?

Answer: The best rule of thumb is to make sure that the table top is no more than 3x the size of the table base. For more details check out our table base support information page

Question: How much weight can my table base support?

A The easiest way to calculate weight support is to take the total weight supportable by each base being used, add them together and then divide by four. This gives you the maximum weight of the top you will be able to support. Our bases support weight from 200-600+ pounds depending on the size of the base. If you should need to support more weight please contact us directly and we can reinforce the piece.

Question: What are your statues and columns made of?

Answer: We use a combination high-grade Hydrostone and Artist Statuary Grade plaster to cast our molds.

For exterior use we can permanant weatherproof your items with an environmentally material called Aqua Resin. This is weatherproofing NOT waterproofing, This does not mean you can use them in a fountain or submerged environment. for that we need to make yor product out of GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement).

We cast in GFRC for items being used in submerged water environments, such as in a pond, Inside an Aquarium, or in a fountain use our items cast in alabaster white, gray, or tinted GFRC or cement. They will withstand the harshest of elements. All of our items can be cast in this way. They will be heavier and cost more for the piece and shipping, contact us directly with the model number your interested in and we will get you the price.
